Climb South Catabato’s famed ecotourism mountain lake destination
Holon (formerly known as Lake Maughan) is the crater lake of Mt. Melibingoy (formerly, Mt. Parker), situated 1,280.16 meters above sea level.
It is located in Tboli’s Barangay Salacafe.
It is recognized among the Top 100 Sustainable Green Destinations in the World in 2016 and 2017.
Tourists may climb Lake Holon either via the Kule trail or the Nabol trail, both offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire lake.
Even on peak days, the number of tourists allowed in Lake Holon is strictly limited to only 200 individuals.

How to get there
Daily flights of Philippine Air Lines and Cebu Pacific via General Santos City International airport and Cotabato City airport.
It is one (1) hour ride to Koronadal City from General Santos City and 2.5 hours from Cotabato City.
Land transportation provides air conditioned buses and van going to Surallah, South Cotabato via Koronadal City public terminal.
From Koronadal City terminal, you may opt for a PUV van plying direct to T'boli, with travel time approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
From Surallah public terminal to T'boli, PUV vans are also available.
At T'boli town, you must register at the Municipal Tourism Office to secure local guides. Next is you need to charter a "Skylab",
a motorcycle fitted for transportation in going to Barangay Salacafe. Fare is around ₱ 100 per person.
A porter is available if you need one, better if you ask for the fee first, before availing one.
Barangay Salacafe is the jumping off to Mt. Melibingoy. The hike is about 3-4 hours.
